The length of an open end two way zip fastener is measured from the end of the top slider to the end of the bottom slider when the zip is fully closed.

Closed end two way X form

The length of a closed end two-way X form zip fastener is measured from the end of one slider to the end of the other slider when the zip is fully closed.

Closed end two way O form

The length of a closed end two-way O form zip fastener is measured from the end of one bottom stop to the end of the other bottom stop.
